At times, I live in the atmosphere, breaking the speed of light as I construct and deconstruct lateral ideas and spending just a nanosecond wondering how all the dots moving around below can even function that slow.
Then other times, I live in the depths, just wishing I had the ability to hibernate until the sun shines again.
But most of the time, I'm stood on the surface, right next to you, occasionally floating and sinking a little, but never too far above or below.
These journeys have nearly destroyed my life, my finances, and my friendships.
But then they've also given me drive, initiative and persistence.
I've driven people away, I know that, and I don't blame them. Whatever my afflictions, this is me, there is always a notion of control I can and should assert.
But now I know the measure of my nemesis, I'd defend it from anyone who saw fit to try and take it away from me.
